Best restaurant in Didcot! Second time here and blown away as always, staff go above and beyond to accommodate and recommend and are very attentive and very generous. Food portions are huge, we've gone home with doggy bags, and the food is so tasty, we can't fault it! You won't be disappointed will definitely be back!
This restaurant is amazing! We stopped in while in town on business and made the choice to go here because of the good reviews. They live up to the reviews! They were incredibly friendly going over the menu and their specialties - and it was all incredible. Next time I'm in Didcot for business I will definitely return. Five out of five stars!
We have recently moved to the area and have ordered from Kolkata several times. The food has been delivered faster than expected each time and the delivery drivers are lovely! Food is always piping hot and plentiful but more importantly super tasty . Couldn’t recommend more!!!
What can I say, a 5 star experience. Excellent customer service and attentiveness from the manager, Ali. He was very friendly and helpful throughout our dining experience despite being so busy at the time. All the food was quality, to name a few, the tandoori king prawn starter, lamb biryani, tarka dhall, and the special chicken dish we had was amazing. The decor and atmosphere of the restaurant were also very elegant and peaceful. There is limited parking at the front, but there is plenty of parking on the side streets, which is great. Highly recommend this place to curry lovers.

Had a fantastic meal at Kolkata the other night. The menu had great variety and my lamb bhuna had wonderful, layered, flavours and tender lamb. We were a large group and the service was top notch from start to finish. A gem in Didcot and worth walking 5 minutes to get away from all the generic chain restaurants.
This is a fantastic Indian restaurant. The food is absolutely brilliant. The guy that runs it and his staff are so friendly and always polite, and they always bring out a little special treat. I would definitely recommend this to anybody. If you are into Indian food, this is definitely the place to go. Top marks! Chairs Vince
2025/03 Great Indian restaurant with a wide variety of choices! I really enjoyed the mix of classic British-Indian dishes I love, along with some creative new twists. They also offer plenty of authentic Indian cuisine, all full of flavor and really well-prepared. The owner was very friendly, which made the experience even better. Overall, a very good spot that I’d definitely return to!
